Your First Swap

Let's walk through a complete swap from start to finish.

Example: Swap ETH to SOL​

We'll swap 0.5 ETH on Arbitrum to SOL on Solana.

1. Set Up the Swap​

From (Source)

  • Network: Arbitrum
  • Token: ETH
  • Amount: 0.5

To (Destination)

  • Network: Solana
  • Token: SOL
  • Address: Your Solana wallet address

2. Get Quotes​

Ozyon fetches quotes from multiple routes:

3. Select Your Route​

For this example, we'll choose Private for maximum anonymity.

Private Route

The Private route may have slightly higher fees, but your transaction cannot be linked between source and destination.

4. Review Details​

Before confirming, verify:

  • You Send: 0.5 ETH on Arbitrum
  • You Receive: ~2.8 SOL on Solana
  • Destination: Your Solana address
  • Estimated Time: 2-5 minutes
  • Total Fees: Displayed clearly

5. Execute​

  1. Click Execute Swap
  2. Your wallet opens with the transaction
  3. Review gas fees and confirm
  4. Transaction is submitted

6. Track Progress​

After confirmation, you're redirected to the order status page:

  • Pending - Transaction submitted, awaiting confirmation
  • Processing - Swap in progress
  • Completed - Funds delivered to destination

Swap Complete​

Your SOL arrives in your Solana wallet. The entire process takes 2-5 minutes for cross-chain swaps, often faster for same-chain.

Tips for Better Swaps​

  • Check gas - High network congestion means higher fees
  • Verify addresses - Always double-check destination addresses
  • Start small - Test with a small amount first if you're new
